At the beginning of September, Vattenfall’s CEO Anna Borg brings parts of the company’s Group Management to Canada to visit developers of nuclear power technology, power companies and authorities. It is the first in a series of visits to leading nuclear power countries, with the aim of deepening knowledge ahead of a possible new construction of nuclear power in Sweden.
Swedish nuclear power is an important part of the fossil-free energy mix in the country and its importance will increase in line with the increased demand for electricity from Swedish industry and society. In just a couple of decades, electricity demand is estimated to have doubled.
Since the summer of 2022, a feasibility study has therefore been underway to examine the conditions for building at least two new SMR reactors (Small Modular Reactors) next to the Ringhals nuclear power plant. Already since 2020, Vattenfall has also participated in a pilot study together with Fermi Energia on building SMR in Estonia.
During the autumn, Anna Borg, together with a delegation from Vattenfall, will visit a number of selected countries and companies where new nuclear power is being built.

“Vattenfall wants to invest in new nuclear power as well as other fossil-free power types. We are an player with experience, competence and access to places where nuclear power already currently exists. At the same time, no new nuclear power has been built in Sweden for several decades. The purpose of the trip is therefore to deepen the understanding of how new construction of nuclear power can be done quickly and efficiently, lessons learned, pitfalls, background to technology choices and regulatory conditions. We will look at both SMR and large-scale nuclear power,” says Anna Borg.

lijkt me echt een vrouw om eens lekker mee te bomen over technologie en techniek .

In Zweden en Denemarken kunnen ze in ieder geval verhalen vertellen . Stamt uit de tijd dat ze nog geen stroom hadden en bij kaarslicht elkaar verhalen vertelden .

Ach ook CEO’s slaan de plank nog wel eens mis, Nederland zou een cruciale rol spelen in de doorvoer van Russisch gas naar Europa, en zo ging de Gasunie voor vele miljoenen een gas carrousel met stikstof injectie (ja u leest het goed) bouwen om het Russische gas mee aan te lengen.
Het Russische gas heeft namelijk een een veel hogere calorische waarde dus dat kon men behoorlijk verdunnen om zo het rendement (voor de gasunie) te verhogen.
Toen kwam Amerika vertellen dat Russisch gas uit den boze is, ze bliezen de pijpleidingen op en plotsklaps was de fabriek niet meer nodig.
Dus die kerncentrale zal er misschien ooit komen, maar dat moet de globale elite wel de beschikking hebben over het Russische uranium, maar om daar nu alvast op vooruit te lopen…
Ah gelukkig.
Nu is eindelijk duidelijk wie er achter dat opblazen zat.

Dit is sarcasme hoor.
De hoge calorische waarde van het Russische gas moet worden aangepast aan de lagere waarde van ons gas, omdat anders de branders in ovens, CV’s en onze andere gastoestellen het niet doen. De uitstroomopeningen waar het aardgas in de juiste verhouding gemengd wordt met het zuurstof in de lucht, zijn heel specifiek afgestemd op ons aardgas.
Olaf Scholz, de Duitse kanselier in een recent interview van Deutschlandfunk: “Die Kernkraft ist zu Ende. Sie wird in Deutschland nicht mehr eingesetzt. Das Thema Kernkraft ist in Deutschland ein totes Pferd.”
In Duitsland gaat het licht uit. De liquidatie van de industrie krijgt vaart. De gammele staat van de Duitse infrastructuur spreekt inmiddels boekdelen.

Simpel het weer opstarten van die 17 gesloten KC’s zou al een stuk helpen.
En ja, ook daar zal best wel wat geld tegenaan gesmeten moeten worden; daar twijfel ik niet aan, maar geen 15 milj/KC en geen proces van 15 jaar.
Maar goed, ik ben er van overtuigd dat ook voor deze charlatan die zich net als TimmerFranciscus laat gijzelen door de Groene Khmer het einde in zicht is.
Neem de Duitser vooral zijn BMW, Audi of Mercedes af en je kan lachen.
